Dance Code Create is a multi-day summer camp where students merge coding, music production, wearable technology, and physical movement into one creative experience. Campers learn to make beats and original songs using code through EarSketch, design and build wearable tech, develop choreography, and bring it all together in a final performance rooted in a cause they care about.

  • Code-based music production with EarSketch
  • Wearable technology design and fabrication
  • Choreography and physical movement
  • AI exploration and Georgia Tech lab tours
  • Career exploration in creative tech fields
  • Final performance featuring original music, wearable tech, and a student-chosen cause
Now entering its second year. No prior coding or dance experience needed. Where creativity and technology collide.

My tech journey started in high school, where Shana Sanders first introduced me to creative tools. Years later, after working in retail and craving a more purpose-driven path, I reconnected with her through WE CREATE TECH. I joined one of their virtual design sessions, and everything clicked. Since then, I’ve worked behind the scenes with the team, upskilling in areas like AI-powered content creation, digital marketing, and no-code platforms. With their support, I earned a Google Digital Marketing certificate and started charting a clear path into the tech space—while helping guide the next generation to do the same.

Shana Sanders (WCT, CEO) mentorship was crucial in shaping my career. The AV skills I gained under her guidance, along with IT fundamentals like SQL, Unix, and JavaScript under my first career opportunity, prepared me to confidently take on new challenges in tech. Today, I manage global video conferencing systems and oversee live and virtual event production at a leading hedge fund, thanks to the solid foundation she helped me build.
